Hooray for the Red, White & Blue!

To celebrate the 4th, we met Nana & Papa for a picnic at Burke Lake Park again this year. It was a glorious day--much cooler than the sweltering day we spent there a year ago. It's amazing to see the pictures from last year and realize how much Tess has changed. Boy, was she ever bald!

Tess had such a fun time with her grandparents this year. She loved being outside, seeing all the people (and their puppies), and she had fun on the train and carousel rides. She truly enjoys life.

Tess was only mildly terrified by the carousel.
She had a death-grip on that horse during the ride.
Once the ride came to a stop, she finally
let out a hesitant, "W-e-e-e-e-e-!"

I see you found some high-top shoes! They look pretty cute kicking at the bubbles. Looks like you had a wonderful day! Love, Dipsy

Isaac will be thrilled to have someone new to play ball with. And Kenzie will be excited to have someone new to ride on the carousel with. Can't wait to see you two!
