With just a little help from Dad, Tess was able to decorate her own pumpkin. She really had a fun time trying out all the faces.
So which face gets the honor of the Halloween porch?
The prize goes to Tess' favorite: "Ken the Dog."
(Tess named him herself, too.)
This morning we heard Tess crying in her bed. I figured she was scared of the noisy rainstorm outside. Instead she was crying because her pumpkin was getting wet on the porch. Ry was quick to rescue Ken the Dog from the torrential storm and pat him dry. Good save, Dad!

The first photo (darling) made this mother/grandmother want to break out in a "remix" (that would be mixed-up, actually) version of "three little pumpkins, sitting at a table". . .

That is actually a really good idea! I think we are going to buy our pumpkins today and carve them. Marc will not be here :( and so I will be tackling it all solo. I think Tess's kit would be perfect....
She looks like pure joy.
Awwww! Her face is even cuter than the pumpkin's! We bought that same kit last year... it's great because you can use it for Play Dough projects for the rest of the year!
