Just Us Girls

Tess and I decided to go make-up free today, so you'll have to pardon the bare-faced pictures. My Primary presidency meeting was canceled, so what's the point? Tess thinks I'm lovely the way I am.

Tess clearly pulls off the "au naturale" look best, however. No, Laura, I didn't even put mascara on her!

I asked Ry if he's starting to feel outnumbered by the girls in this house. He said he's used to the feeling. Girls rule, boys drool! (OK, sometimes Tess does too.)

We still love you Ry! As far as boys go, you're not so bad.

Besides another fabulous set of photos, I have a formating question for you. How do you get two photos close to each other?? The click/drag function on blogspot is not so user-friendly. Looks like a wonderful day at home with the little princess!

What a CUTE smile!! I will send you some baby mascara (not that she needs any). Use it on Sundays only. Make sure you never use waterproof mascara as we were wiping it off Brooke as we were on the way to the E.R. for stitches!! =)

Ann--I agree that blogger can be a royal pain when it comes to layout. Not the most user-friendly program.

When you upload the photos, select the "no formatting" option. Pick the medium or small size of pictures so they can fit side-by-side (large photos won't fit). Once they've uploaded, you should be able to drag one photo next to another.

You can also move photos around by right clicking on the photo and using the cut and paste functions. Once my photos are in place, I usually select the "centering" option on the top toolbar to center the pics.

Note that the "preview" option is pretty much worthless because the preview layout looks totally different than the final post layout. Just go ahead and post it, and then edit the post if you need to make changes.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Miriam!! Great tips!! I definately figured out that the "preview" button was completely worthless!!! It should say "preview how your blog will not look" :o).

That little ball of sunshine just made my day like you wouldn't believe! She was SMILING! Be still, my heart!

PS Those formatting tips are great, can't wait to try them out...

I'd rather not see Tess in mascara, ok?

But it would be nice to see her and you and ryan in person...so come and see us.....

These photos are precious. However, am I the only one to notice that we didn't get to see what Tess wore to church on Sunday? Please don't deprive us who are Tess-hungry! Love, Mom

Well good, Maureen! You certainly needed something to make your day, since nothing has been able to for over 2 weeks now! Anything that helps you feel better is worth it!

Sorry, Mom. She wore the Sophie Dess dress again on Sunday, and she didn't look different enough from the previous week to merit a photo shoot. I just love her in that dress and no one got to see it because of Stake Conference. So, yes, she wore the same dress 2 weeks in a row. How embarrassing!

Bri--I have a ticket to come out with Tess the first week of June! I can't wait! It's been a whole year since I've seen little LK. We're still considering whether Ry will be able to come.

Welp, i wanna know. Did Tess kick to Pioneer Children? Was she the toothfairy? Did she wrestle a Cabbage Patch Doll? Is this a strange list to someone who doesn't know what I'm talking about? Did ya do anything to, ya know, sweep it?
