Apocalypse [s]Now: Saturday, 3:30 pm

Our on-the-porch-yardstick now reads 15 inches. The snow has slowed, but it's still coming down.

Ryan ventured out to do a little reporting from the field. Turns out my yardstick may not be as accurate as I thought. Ryan is reporting depths of 20 inches from the sidewalk and parking lot.

It really is too bad that we only have one snow shovel. ;)

Don't think that Tess and I haven't been busy, though! Somebody has to stay inside to cream butter & sugar and mix in chocolate chips. Snowstorms are hard work!

We're also glad to report that Nana & Papa are back on the grid. Church is canceled tomorrow, and our ward has been putting the emergency phone tree to effective use. There have a been a few outages around here, but everyone seems to be fairing well.

Snow is supposed to continue until about 7:00 pm, so I'll post a final update about that time.
