We've had a busy Easter day. It's been fun, but I'm really tired. Here are some photos, but I'll have to write later.
I will say that Tessie's Easter outfit is courtesy of my sister Meredith--I've been dying for Easter to get here so Tess could wear it. I'll also say thanks to Wendy and Keith for having us over for a delicious Easter dinner!
2017
Before 7 am this morning, Drew had already unwrapped and put on his Christmas Eve jammies. Drew’s defense: “What’s wrong? The package said open on Christmas Eve and TODAY is Christmas Eve!!!”
Drew: "Mom, can I make you a present for Christmas Eve?"
Me: "Umm, sure!"
Drew: "Can I use one of my old socks?"
Me: "Umm...."
Morley left some chocolates with a much-needed reminder for the kids to use kind words.
Drew reported: “Mom, you have to use sweet words with me cuz you love me and Morley said so.”
Not sure the message got through to him.
2015
Drew interrupted the dinner prayer and said, "You know at the end of the prayer you say, 'Name of Jesus Christ, Amen'? Don't say that part. Instead, say 'Happy New Year!'"
Miriam: "Why?"
Drew: "'Cause it's for Christmas!"

What a fun Easter celebration! I love the baskets. Looks like Tessie had a great first Easter.
LOVE the church outfit and of course the shoes. If I have another baby and it's a girl, I want to borrow it ;o)

Ann, I told Ry I wanted Easter tulips and he picked out the colors. Nana declined to have her picture taken since she quickly slipped into her nightgown after dinner (believe me, I tried!).

I love how she looks like a caterpillar in a cocoon right next to her new Flutterby toy. The shoes are darling, she looks like spring personified! The video was so much fun, that girl can work the hat thing. Next request: that video of her feeding. I want to see her sleepy eyes, too! Miss you so much!
