Easter Day

We woke up at the crack of dawn Easter Sunday to see what surprises the Easter Bunny brought (we have 9 am church, and I had to be there for choir practice 30 mins early).  

Tess was happy to see that the Easter Bunny finished the color-by-number project she created for him.  

She was even happier to see that he had brought her a perfect Easter hat.  She's been pining for one all season, and she was so disappointed that I'd had no luck finding one for her.  Amazingly, the Easter Bunny pulled through with a hat to match her Easter dress.

Drew finally put 2 and 2 together once he saw all the Easter candy.  He kept pointing to the ceiling and saying, "Bunny come to house!"

We squeezed in a quick chocolate egg hunt.

The Easter Bunny brought Tess and Drew matching brother-sister chocolate bunnies.

Drew figured out how to break in to his in no time--ears first.

We finished the day off with a delicious Easter dinner at Nana & Papa's house and yet another impromptu egg hunt.  We had a wonderful holiday!
