2017
Before 7 am this morning, Drew had already unwrapped and put on his Christmas Eve jammies. Drew’s defense: “What’s wrong? The package said open on Christmas Eve and TODAY is Christmas Eve!!!”
Drew: "Mom, can I make you a present for Christmas Eve?"
Me: "Umm, sure!"
Drew: "Can I use one of my old socks?"
Me: "Umm...."
Morley left some chocolates with a much-needed reminder for the kids to use kind words.
Drew reported: “Mom, you have to use sweet words with me cuz you love me and Morley said so.”
Not sure the message got through to him.

Drew interrupted the dinner prayer and said, "You know at the end of the prayer you say, 'Name of Jesus Christ, Amen'? Don't say that part. Instead, say 'Happy New Year!'"
Miriam: "Why?"
Drew: "'Cause it's for Christmas!"

Oh, I feel your pain, Bri! How do you think I got to the point where I needed to lose 70 lbs? Living with Meredith for a year! It's a good thing we have Mer as our skinny scapegoat!
Come on, Mer! You're supposed to be HELPING your boy. Remember?
I would just like to point out, that although I am not participating, I have lost 29 pounds since the contest began... feel free to applaud.
Good thing you're not participating--we're eating your dust!!!
Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap!
Way to go!
Does it count if you still carry around about 8 pounds of it in a carseat everywhere you go....It seems you didn't REALLY lose all of it Maureen!!

Come on, give her credit! That still means she lost 21 pounds! My week was SO bad last week...I gained back everything I'd lost in the past 3 weeks! And after all my best efforts, this week doesn't look like it will be much better. It's a good thing we're having this contest, or I'd be giving up about now (and digging into that jar of hot fudge just sitting in my fridge) Keep up the good work, Maureen!
I'd be happy to carry around 8 lbs. if that meant it were no longer attached to me. That didn't come out sounding right.
My week isn't shaping up so hot either. The forecast isn't good, since Ry wants homemade mac n cheese and ice cream cake for Father's Day dinner.
Ooooh
That's what I want too!....Send some in the mail???
