Coming Down.
She did a great job until she reached the stair landing.
For some reason, she decided to tackle that last stair with a faceplant.
Hence, the dramatic ending.

Before 7 am this morning, Drew had already unwrapped and put on his Christmas Eve jammies. Drew’s defense: “What’s wrong? The package said open on Christmas Eve and TODAY is Christmas Eve!!!”
Drew: "Mom, can I make you a present for Christmas Eve?"
Me: "Umm, sure!"
Drew: "Can I use one of my old socks?"
Me: "Umm...."
Morley left some chocolates with a much-needed reminder for the kids to use kind words.
Drew reported: “Mom, you have to use sweet words with me cuz you love me and Morley said so.”
Not sure the message got through to him.

Drew interrupted the dinner prayer and said, "You know at the end of the prayer you say, 'Name of Jesus Christ, Amen'? Don't say that part. Instead, say 'Happy New Year!'"
Miriam: "Why?"
Drew: "'Cause it's for Christmas!"

I can't believe that she can come down the stairs too! She has a new surprise every day! Today Isaac handed me a toy telephone and told me it was Aunt Mimi. So I pretended talking to you and Isaac said, "Tell Tess I love!" What a lucky Dipsy I am!
Those are the longest legs I have ever seen on a baby. She'll be climbing mountains some day :)
Ah, such a baby genius (it's gotta be the Einstein hair)! When she reached the top of her climb, she sort of went "splat"! Reminded me of a squirrel we had in the yard once that would eat itself silly, then go "splat" on the deck.
I was a nervous wreck watching her come *down* the steps. Whew! She made it (face plant aside). Go baby!
