2017
Before 7 am this morning, Drew had already unwrapped and put on his Christmas Eve jammies. Drew’s defense: “What’s wrong? The package said open on Christmas Eve and TODAY is Christmas Eve!!!”
Drew: "Mom, can I make you a present for Christmas Eve?"
Me: "Umm, sure!"
Drew: "Can I use one of my old socks?"
Me: "Umm...."
Morley left some chocolates with a much-needed reminder for the kids to use kind words.
Drew reported: “Mom, you have to use sweet words with me cuz you love me and Morley said so.”
Not sure the message got through to him.
2015
Drew interrupted the dinner prayer and said, "You know at the end of the prayer you say, 'Name of Jesus Christ, Amen'? Don't say that part. Instead, say 'Happy New Year!'"
Miriam: "Why?"
Drew: "'Cause it's for Christmas!"

ryan, you are the cutest little boy; next to my fuzzers. I totally forgot about that striped couch. Love dad's sideburns. I think that shirt he is wearing is still in his closet! See you in a few weeks.
Her head is shaped like Ryan's and her eyes look like yours. I HAD voted for you, but now it's a toss up... so I'll have to vote for Ryan to cancel myself out.

the left nostril is Ryan, the right nostril is definitely Miriam. She looks like . . . a baby. She is so very tiny! Mir, either you're head is exceptionally large, or she is just the tiniest pants-wearing imp I ever did see. I could eat her for (well, since she's so dainty) brunch.
